§ Mr. GodberManufacturers are liable to prosecution under the Food and Drugs Act, 1955, if evaporated milk contains metallic grit. I am satisfied that the powers of the local food and drugs authorities to deal with such cases are adequate and that no strengthening of the law is necessary.
