HC Deb 23 April 1958 vol 586 c75W
Mr. Hamilton

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty how many apprentices are at present undergoing training at the Royal Naval Aircraft Yard, at Donibristle; and what steps are being taken to safeguard the future of these boys.

Mr. T. G. D. Galbraith

One hundred and twenty-six apprentices are borne at the Royal Naval Aircraft Yard, Donibristle. All of these will be enabled to complete their training. Forty-eight will do this at Donibristle. Thirty-five have chosen to be transferred to Rosyth and 32 to Fleetlands. Three have asked for their indentures to be cancelled and eight have not yet made up their minds.
