§ Mr. MaudlingThe Government's intention is that, subject to the requirements as to commercial prospects and the other conditions set out in Section 4 of the Distribution of Industry Act, 1945, it shall be possible for the Treasury to give financial assistance to a trade or business not only in the Development Areas but also in any areas in which there64W is a relatively high rate of unemployment which would otherwise be likely to persist.
