§ Mr. Hamiltonasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the fact that the Report of the Medical Research Council on radioactivity is now almost two years out of date, and that meanwhile much has happened which must have increased the level of radioactivity in the atmosphere, he will consider the publication of interim reports at not more than six-monthly intervals.
§ The Prime MinisterNo. The United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation will be making a comprehensive report by July.
The level of radioactive fall-out in the United Kingdom in rainwater, herbage, 60W milk and other foodstuffs and in bone is monitored regularly and the results are published periodically.
