§ 65. Captain Kerbyasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is satisfied that the addition of one anti-submarine frigate to our antisubmarine forces in commission during the current financial year is adequate, in view of our North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and other commitments; and whether he will undertake to review the possibilities of putting further ships of this type in commission.
§ Mr. R. AllanMy noble Friend is satisfied that the resources available to the Royal Navy are applied so as to provide the best balance of ships, including anti-submarine frigates, to meet changing circumstances and commitments.
