HC Deb 03 April 1958 vol 585 cc192-3W
Mr. Mason

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs which colliery spoil heaps have been chosen for special treatment, other than the twelve in Yorkshire; to what extent they will be treated; what is the estimated total cost; and if he will now make a statement on the discussions he has had with the National Coal Board on this problem.

Mr. Bevins

My right hon. Friend is not yet in a position to make a statement, but meanwhile I am sending the hon. Member particulars of the schemes suggested as examples of the improvements which might be made.
