§ Mr. Iain MacleodPercentage rates of unemployment can be computed for industries but not for occupations. At 17th February the rate of unemployment in the engineering and vehicle and aircraft industries in the South-Western Region was 1.0 per cent. The maintenance of employment in the industry is primarily a matter for the industry itself.
