§ Mr. Lennox-BoydAn officer should not be confirmed in his appointment unless he is considered suitable in all respects for permanent appointment. If the officer is not confirmed on the expiration of his probationary period and his probationary appointment is not terminated, he continues to serve for extended probationary service until he is confirmed or until his probationary appointment is terminated.
