§ Mr. SoamesMy noble Friend visited Canada, at the invitation of the Canadian Government in order to see at first hand something of the activities of the Royal Canadian Navy. He naturally took the opportunity of discussing with the Minister of Defence in Canada and with the Canadian Naval Board a number of matters of current concern to both the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Navy.
