BrookeSo far as the rents of controlled houses are concerned, none can have been increased by more than 7s. 6d. a week as a maximum, and there can be no increase at all where a certificate of disrepair is in force. As to decontrolled houses, new rents are for settlement between landlord and tenant, and many negotiations for this purpose are now going on.
