HC Deb 29 October 1957 vol 575 cc16-7W
98. Mr. E. L. Mallalieu

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government on what authority the £85, which is to be set off against principal owing to the Central Land Board for development charge by Mr. H. B. Hole, of Scunthorpe, is to be used to cancel the early instalments due from Mr. Hole rather than the later ones.

Mr. H. Brooke

I regret that I cannot undertake to answer Questions about individual cases involving payment of development charge; this is a matter within the day to day administration of the Central Land Board under the relevant provisions of the Town and Country Planning Acts of 1947 and 1954.

The Board's explanation of their action has already been conveyed to the hon. Member by letter.
