§ 60. Mr. Tilneyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what liaison there is between African Territories under his control and those administered by the Government of the French Republic.
§ Mr. ProfumoLiaison is effected by means of local Anglo-French conferences, mainly on technical subjects, by exchanges of visits by officials of the British and French administrations, and through the local consulates. A member of Her Majesty's Government's Consulate-General in Daker has special duties in connection with Anglo-French liaison in West Africa. International organisations, such as the Commission for Technical Co-operation in Africa south of the Sahara, provide further opportunities for discussion of common problems.
