§ Mr. Mahonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government (1) how many local authorities have made application for financial assistance under Section 5 of the Housing Subsidies Act, 1956; and how many of this number are still being considered for financial assistance;
(2) on what date Bootle County Borough Council applied for consideration under Section 5 of the Housing Subsidies Act, 1956; and when that council may expect his decision;
(3) what action he has taken to determine the financial needs of those authorities who have applied for assistance under the Housing Subsidies Act, 1956; and when some of these authorities may hope for a reply to their requests for financial assistance to house the people on their long waiting lists.
