Mr. Maudeasked the Minister of Education whether his attention has been drawn to the decision of the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation to send military radar equipment to Egypt as part of a grant for educational assistance; what instructions the British representatives at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation have been given in regard to this decision; and what steps Her Majesty's Government propose to take to prevent future infringements of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation's terms of reference.
