§ Sir W. Anstruther-Grayasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is now in a position to announce the appointment of the Clean Air Council for Scotland as required under the Clean Air Act, 1956.
§ Mr. MaclayThe constitution of the Clean Air Council for Scotland is set out in an Order which I have laid before Parliament today. Sir David Anderson, Ph.D., A.R.T.C., F.R.S.E., M.I.Mech.E., Director of the Royal College of Science and Technology, Glasgow, has agreed to be Chairman of the Council, and the following is a list of the members of the Council whom I have appointed:—72W
