Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Works if he will publish the recommendations of the Historic Buildings Council on the preservation of the toll-house at Half-Way between Newbury and Hunger-ford on the Bath Road in view of the interest that many travellers find in this landmark, which is now falling into disrepair.
§ Mr. MolsonI have accepted the advice of the Historic Buildings Council for England that we should look to the owners to preserve this building as a dwelling without the help of a grant for repairs.
