HC Deb 14 November 1957 vol 577 c78W
Mr. D. Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Air what efforts are being made to re-employ the personnel made redundant by the decision to close the Royal Air Force signals station at Seaton Snook, County Durham; how many of the men displaced are technicians; and how many are unskilled.

Mr. Ward

We are in touch with the Ministry of Labour and National Service about the re-employment of the forty men who must be discharged, of whom eight are skilled tradesmen.
