§ Mr. MaclayThe Crown Estate Commissioners, in common with other owners of net fishings in Scotland, do not disclose this information. I would remind my hon. and gallant Friend that, under the provisions of Section 15 of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act, 1951, the Secretary of State is precluded from publishing the actual numbers of salmon caught in any one fishery within the preceding ten years.
