HC Deb 12 November 1957 vol 577 cc29-30W
68. Mr. Awbery

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what control, under his regulations, is retained either by his Department or by the local authority, over land in respect of which compensation has been paid for refusal of planning permission; and what restrictions on its use can be imposed other than the requirement to refund compensation if it is subsequently developed.

Mr. H. Brooke

The development of such land continues to be subject to the ordinary planning controls provided for by the Town and Country Planning Acts.
