Mr. Creech Jonesasked the Minister of Labour how many trainers in the Training Within Industry Department are serving in his Department compared with the end of 1955; to what extent the service is in demand and appreciated by industry; and whether he proposes to reduce it further.
§ Mr. Carr:There are twenty-three Training Within Industry trainers serving in my Department as compared with thirty-eight at the end of 1955. There is a steady demand for their services which are highly appreciated by industry, and no further reduction in their numbers is contemplated.
