asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the chief countries from which rum was imported in 1954, 1955, and 1956, together with the quantity and value from each.

The following are the figures:

These will start early in April. The most important change will be an increase in the meat ration. In this and other ways the total quantity of food will be increased and more varied meals will be provided. The rates of allowances for those not drawing rations will be raised to take account of the increased value of the new scales.
