Rations Scales (Improvements)

asked the Minister of Defence what action he intends to take to improve Service rations.

We have decided to introduce improvements in the rations scales for the Forces at home and overseas.

Mr. Maclay

The technical questions which would be involved in the provision of a footpath on this bridge are being examined as quickly as possible, but I regret that I cannot forecast when they will be completed. I am advised that it would not be in the interests of road safety to instal traffic signals at the bridge because of the bends and steep gradients on the approaches.
