§ 64. Mr. Skeffingtonasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation how many accidents there have been in the last ten years involving civil aircraft landing or taking off from civil airports; and how many other accidents involving civil aircraft there have been in the same period.
§ Mr. NeaveIn the United Kingdom during the ten years ending 31st December, 1956, there were 308 accidents to civil aircraft while taking off or landing at civil airports and 251 other civil aircraft accidents. These figures include all reportable accidents including many minor ones to light aircraft.
