HC Deb 14 March 1957 vol 566 cc212-3W
Dr. Johnson

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the financial hardship to parents and relatives of inmates in Rampton and Moss Side Institutions created by the travelling distances between these institutions and the inmates' homes; and what concessionary arrangements he proposes to make in respect of the cost of fares to parents and relatives who wish to visit inmates of these institutions.

Mr. Vosper

The railway authorities have granted a concession by which relatives may obtain travel vouchers from these hospitals which enable them to make the return journey at the cost of a single fare and a half.
