§ 58. Mr. Oramasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what plans have been proposed or carried out by the Government of Mauritius under their development programme for increasing the opportunities for employment of seasonal workers in the Colony.
§ Mr. ProfumoThe Capital Expenditure Programme is designed to strengthen and diversify the economy of Mauritius, and thus provide additional employment both for seasonal workers and others; for instance, field workers should benefit under the agricultural provision in the programme.
