§ Mr. H. BrookeProposals to improve the setting of the Tower, including the provision of an important new open space, were approved in March, 1955, by my predecessor as part of the County of London Development Plan. In the last few days I have received from the London County Council proposals which would involve a minor departure from this plan. These are still under consideration.
