§ Mr. Iain MacleodMore than half of the employees concerned have been transferred to other Government establishments; most of the others obtained employment in other factories or in the building industry; five of them are registered as unemployed at my local offices. I do not expect any difficulty in placing the skilled workers amongst those to be discharged this month but it may take a little time to find fresh employment for the unskilled.
