asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has approved the appointment of Mr. Vernon Gattie to act as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Tomato and Cucumber Marketing Board; and on what date.

Mr. Gattie was approved on 20th December, 1956, by the then Secretary of State for appointment by the Tomato and Cucumber Marketing Board as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Board.
