§ Sir A. Bossomasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will consider requiring all sheep imported into this country to be sprayed or treated to prevent any introduction of disease into our sheep.
Mr. AmoryAll imported sheep, other than those intended for immediate slaughter, are already required to be dipped against sheep scab at the landing place. I am advised that there is no single treatment that would effectively prevent imported sheep from introducing diseases generally.
