81. The Rev. LI. Williamsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he is satisfied that the new building in the Welsh National Folk Museum fits in architecturally and aesthetically with the mills, farmhouses, chapels, etc., in the museum grounds; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. H. BrookePlanning permission for this building was given by the Cardiff Rural District Council, acting for the Glamorgan County Council, the local planning authority, and not by me. I understand that only a very small part of the proposed new building has been constructed and that it is not possible to judge the scheme adequately by what is so far visible.
