§ Mr. Wilfred Palingasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the numbers of Africans from Tanganyika who are 171W receiving technical training at Makerere College, at the Royal Technical College, Nairobi. at the Yunda Trade School, the number who will be admitted to the new trade school at Moshi and the numbers receiving technical training in the United Kingdom respectively, for the years 1955–57 inclusive.
§ Mr. Lennox-Boyd,pursuant to Mr. Profumo's reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 9th July, 1957; Vol. 573, c. 185], supplied the following information regarding the numbers of Africans from Tanganyika who are receiving technical training:

There are no technical training courses held at Makerere College.
