Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the approximate numbers of Africans in Northern Rhodesia who would obtain the vote under the qualifications of £240 per year income, Standard VI education, £180 per year income, Standard IV education, £120 per year income, and the jobs of hospital orderlies and nurses, and teachers, respectively
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI have asked the Governor if he can provide an estimate of the numbers who would qualify under each of those heads, and when I have his reply I will write to the hon. Member.
