§ Mr. Iain MacleodOn the 19th July, there were 392 unfilled vacancies for professional engineers in the radio industry, and on 17th June there were 950 unfilled vacancies for electronic technicians and craftsmen. The latter vacancies cover other industries as well as the radio industry. Not all vacancies are however notified to my offices. I have no recent information on which a reliable estimate of the future demands of the industry could be based.
