§ Sir. A. Bossomasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in view of the fact that hop production is restricted in this country, what are his present proposals with regard to the import of foreign hops.
Mr. AmoryThe Board of Trade announced on the 2nd July that the remaining import controls on hops will be removed from 1st August, 1957. Hops are, of course, subject to a tariff.
