§ 60. Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a statement regarding the present position of the Zambesi Valley flooding under the Kariba Scheme with particular reference to the numbers of Northern Rhodesians so far evacuated and the terms of their resettlement.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydA progress report on the five months up to 31st May is being tabled during the current meeting of the Northern Rhodesia Legislative Council, and I shall place a copy in the Library. If the hon. Member after reading this report has any further questions, I shall be very ready to obtain the answers. As to the numbers involved, I have still nothing to add to what I stated in reply to the hon. Member's Question on 8th May.
