§ Commander NobleIt is not for Her Majesty's Government alone to make a permanent agreement with the Egyptian Government on the Suez Canal. Such an agreement would have to be international in character. My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister explained in his statement to the House on 13th May the provisional arrangements that have been made for its use.
