§ Mr. ProfumoAttempts have been made to interest private enterprise, both in Mauritius and in the United Kingdom, as recommended by the Report; but the prospects are not at present good since the local market is not considered large enough for economic production, and there are many technical difficulties, including the lack of a suitable local fuel.
