§ 10. Mr. R. Harrisasked the President of the Board of Trade if, before Britain joins a European Common Market, Her Majesty's Government will insist on no Government participating in the common market giving any special advantages to exporting firms, such as export subsidies or tax concessions, unless equal advantages are given by general agreement by all the other Governments in the common market to their own exporting firms.
§ Sir D. EcclesIt will be the aim of Her Majesty's Government in negotiations for a free trade area to secure that all member countries agree not to grant export subsidies or other artificial aids designed to give unfair advantage to their exporters.
