§ Captain Kerbyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the continued emigration of West Indians to the United Kingdom and the critical situation which will arise in the event of mass unemployment in Britain, he will make preparations to consult with and invite the forthcoming Government of Ghana to assist in finding gainful employment for indigent inhabitants of the embryo Caribbean Federation.
§ Mr. ProfumoOpportunities for West Indians in the Gold Coast are likely to be few, and I do not think that the consultation suggested would serve any useful purpose.
