§ Mr. Wiggasked the Secretary of State for War when he proposes to present a Supplementary Estimate for the £80,000 cost of supplies and services provided for French forces recently engaged in Middle Eastern operations, in view of the fact that the application of this sum has not 98W yet been authorised by Parliament; and how he proposes to set off the refund from the French Government.
§ Mr. HareAn Army Supplementary Estimate, which includes provision for extra expenditure as a result of the Suez emergency, was presented on 22nd January. This takes account of supplies and services to the French forces and the consequential recoveries.
