§ 91. Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he will now give an approximate date when the Great North Road will be remade with dual carriageways during its entire length in accordance with his announced intentions.
§ Mr. WatkinsonI intend to provide dual carriageways on the Great North Road as fast as funds will allow, but I cannot at present say when every scheme between London and Newcastle, a length of about 270 miles, will be finally completed.
