HC Deb 26 February 1957 vol 565 cc151-2W
69. Mr. Teeling

asked the Minister of Labour why Mr. J. Topham, 17, Gloucester Street, Brighton, who was shot in Cuba, is not to be given a training course until his case has been settled in Cuba; and what steps he is taking to find him employment.

Mr. Carr

My hon. Friend appears to be under a misapprehension. After completing a course of industrial rehabilitation Mr. Topham was recommended for training as an instrument mechanic, and my Department is trying to arrange a course of such training for him.
