Mr. AmoryLady Garbett recently brought an action seeking to establish that my occupation of her land was unlawful. This necessarily held up negotiations for a tenancy agreement under Section 18 of the Agriculture Act. The court having now dismissed Lady Garbett's claim, negotiations for an agreement will be pursued. Meanwhile no payment by way of rent has been asked for or tendered.
