HC Deb 21 February 1957 vol 565 cc91-2W
Mr. Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in HANSARD a table showing the number and grades of civil servants, together with their present salary scale, who have not received an increase in their salaries since the stated date when Members of Parliament commenced to receive their sessional allowance; and on what date, and by what amounts, these civil servants last had their salaries increased.

Mr. Powell

To the best of my knowledge and belief there are no civil servants in this position. The date referred to is 24th May, 1954.
