HC Deb 20 February 1957 vol 565 cc70-1W
Captain Kerby

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what are the functions in the Government of Cyprus of the Secretary for Organisation and Methods; what are the qualifications of the present incumbent; and what other Colonial Governments employ an officer of this description.

Mr. Profumo

The post of Secretary for Organisation and Methods is at present in abeyance. The officer who holds this title is performing other duties in the Financial Secretary's office. The second part of the Question does not therefore arise. Most Colonial Governments employ officers on duties connected with organisation and methods.
