asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what plans he has for the extension of Radio Sarawak; and when this work will be completed.

Mr. Profumo

Plans have been approved for providing additional studios, more extensive programme and administrative facilities and a second shortwave transmitter. It is expected that the work will be completed by September, 1957.
