HC Deb 20 February 1957 vol 565 c74W
87. Mr. Hannan

asked the Postmaster-General how many applications for telephone service are on the waiting list, at a recent convenient date, for the Possilpark and Maryhill exchanges of Glasgow; and how many of these have been waiting for a period of three years and over.

Mr. Marples

99 and 453 respectively, of which 16 have been outstanding over three years. Arrangements are in hand to extend the exchanges, but this involves a good deal of work, and will take time to complete.
