§ Mr. NugentThe draft scheme to fix the line of the Birmingham-Preston Motorway, which will pass within a few miles of Wigan, is in course of preparation and we are at present discussing it with my right hon. Friend, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
Until the draft scheme has been published, and the weight of objection to it is known, I cannot say when the road will be completed.
