HC Deb 19 February 1957 vol 565 c53W
Sir A. Bossom

asked the Minister of Agriculture., Fisheries and Food in view of the severe damage done by starlings, particularly to recently-sown corn, if he will have an investigation made as to the best ways of keeping down these birds, and advise farmers accordingly.

Mr. Amory

I have had no reports of serious damage by starlings to young corn, but I would be glad to investigate any evidence which may have been brought to the notice of my hon. Friend.
