Mr. Brockway

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies which United Nations or other international agencies are assisting development schemes in Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika, respectively; what are the schemes; and what is the nature and cost of the assistance in each case.

The United Nations and the Specialised Agencies plan to provide assistance to these territories in 1957 as tabulated below:
